Can you turbo a 4age?
If you are starting with a 4AGZE and want to turbo it then up to stock GZE boost levels all you need to worry about is the turbo kit. If you want to run more than 8 PSI you need to decide if buying a gruntbox and working with what you have will be the best route or if you should upgrade to something with more control.
How much power can a 4age handle?
Registered. I’d say your fairly safe boosting a 4age to around the 190-200hp range but thats going to require spot on tuning the slightist case of detonation is going to shatter your ringlands so don’t skimp get good injectors, a megasquirt , good wideband and a great tune.
What is the difference between 4age blacktop and Silvertop?
While their valve size and position are identical the Silvertop features a chamber with a squish area in every gap between the valves. The Blacktop on the other hand features all but the smallest flat section behind the exhaust ports.

What is a 7AGE engine?
A 7AGE is a hybrid motor that uses a 7AFE block, crank and sometimes other bottom end components and a 4AGE head and other components to make a 1.8 liter stroker motor. You can do this with any 4AGE head including largeport, smallport, silvertop or blacktop.
