Alex Roe, a British actor born on June 18, 1990, rose to prominence after appearing in the 2016 sci-fi action film The Fifth Wave. Following his initial success, he immediately rode the wave and landed the male lead role in The Ring, a horror-thriller film, in 2017.

Despite his enormous popularity, Roe has managed to stay under the radar for most of his acting career. And that’s how he likes it. In addition, the Siren star rarely divulges information about his personal life. Pictures of his family and romantic relationships are scarce on his social media.

On the other hand, his fans have gathered evidence and spoken on the actor’s behalf about his love life over the years.

Quick Facts

Roe is rumored to be dating Monica Noonan

Roe was spotted hand-in-hand with Olivia Cooke in August 2014, before he became famous in Hollywood. The English couple was on their way to see Arctic Monkeys that night. But it’s unclear whether that ordeal was just a date or the start of a long-term relationship.

Cooke is best known for her roles in Bates Motel and Vanity Fair miniseries. In October of this year, Roe was linked to a woman named Monica Noonan. They are not currently in a relationship.

When the TV show Siren launched a Twitter contest, #SirenContest, Roe, and Noonan’s photo together was revealed. A fan claimed on Married Celebrity’s comment section in November 2019 that Roe and Noonan were still dating and living together in Vancouver, Canada.

While Roe has not spoken about his marital life, rumors exist that he is engaged to Noonan, his future wife. Another fan commented on one of Roe’s fan Instagram pages in December 2019, implying that Roe and Noonan were engaged. According to the comment, they were also filming the season 3 finale of Siren.

Based on the information provided, the actor’s fans believe he is with Noonan and may marry her in the future. However, the details cannot be confirmed as valid until the actor or any credible source confirms them.

Roe Denies Rumors of Romance with Co-Star

The Fifth Wave, Roe’s debut film, was shot in Atlanta, and most of his scenes were with his co-star Chlo Grace Moretz. In an interview with the Evening Standard in June 2018, the actor discussed his chemistry with his co-star and addressed rumors that they were in a relationship.

In response to rumors of his romance with Moretz, he stated that the two were close friends and that their conversations were usually centered on their work. He also said that he was single at the time. He revealed that he and Moretz hit it off right away and that because her family was from Atlanta, he even went to her house for Thanksgiving.

However, Roe also stated that if someone special came his way, he would undoubtedly be interested in her. “That’s not to say I wouldn’t be interested if someone amazing came along,” he said.
